In 2018, our founders began walking Houston streets with cold water, warm meals, and clean hygiene kits. What started as an informal effort quickly revealed a deep need for consistent, dignified support among unhoused neighbors.
Harbor Haven Community Services was founded from a desire to meet people where they are with dignity, compassion, and practical support. Our outreach focuses on building relationships, addressing immediate essential needs when resources are available, and helping individuals connect with community services that may support their journey toward greater stability.

For veterans, we place special emphasis on connecting eligible individuals with VA programs, veteran service organizations, housing resources, healthcare, benefits assistance, employment resources, and other veteran specific services.
